Headlines is planning a Cut-a-thon for Breast Cancer Awareness on October 5th. Although breast cancer affects patients, families and friends of patients all year round, October is Breast Cancer Awareness month. On Sunday, October 5, from 12:00 - 6:00, we at Headlines will be offering haircuts with the full amount raised going to the Junction City Breast Cancer Awareness Group. Funds will be available for patients that need assistance outside the coverage of their insurance and for those without coverage. Contact us with any questions. Make your appointment early. They are going fast. We will also accept walk-ins as time allows.

Headlines and our "sister salon" The Mane Thing will be promoting the entire month of October as "Color for a Cure"! Any guest receiving color services during the month of October will be given a "gift bag of goodies" and a portion of all color service dollars generated will be donated to The Geary Community Health Care Foundation, earmarked for breast cancer equipment. Last year The Mane Thing donated just over $500.00. Our goal this year with both Headlines and The Mane Thing working together is to generate at least $800.00. Please help us exceed our goal.
